Anne Elisabeth Krüger
Anne Krüger heads the SME 4.0 Competence Center Usability project at the Fraunhofer IAO. She is a research associate at the Fraunhofer IAO (User Experience team).
She studied mechanical engineering at TU Darmstadt, specializing in product innovation and human-technology interaction. At the Ingvar Kamprad Design Center (IKDC) she deepened her knowledge of product and user experience design. She also has in-depth knowledge of design thinking (d.school, HPI Potsdam) and is a certified Lego® Serious Play® trainer. Her professional focus is on user research and the integration of user experience in innovation processes.
Since 2012, she has been developing the "BUILDING IDEAS" innovation approach at the Fraunhofer IAO, which specifically integrates emotional aspects into technical processes and companies. She is also doing her doctorate on the subject of empathy and creativity.
She also developed the Pop UP Toolkit - a mobile creative space - and the Fraunhofer IAO's Warm UP Set.
