Andreas Stute gained several years of experience in the optical industry after completing his PhD in quantum optics, ranging from medical technology to industrial metrology. At OHB and Airbus, he led the development of optical instruments for space applications in ESA- and DLR- projects as a team leader.

Since 2023, he has held a professorship in Optical Quantum Technologies at Technische Hochschule Nürnberg and is building up a research group at the interface between photonics and quantum technologies.
