In accordance with its statutes, the Institute is a non-profit registered association for the promotion of pre-competitive joint research in the field of cleaning technology of textile and non-textile materials in the interest of small and medium-sized enterprises. It also carries out consulting and further training measures. Joint tasks (standardization, cooperation in the preparation of technical and environmental regulations, support for legislation) are undertaken in the interest of the affiliated industry.
