Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences (TH Aschaffenburg) is a particularly strong research university with a focus on intelligent systems, materials and knowledge management. In the area of "New Materials", we research sustainable materials and processes in order to develop innovative solutions for resource and energy efficiency. Research activities in this area are pooled in the NETZ (Technology Transfer Center for Sustainable Energies).

Through our NETZ technology transfer center, we support regional SMEs in the development and implementation of sustainable energy concepts.

With a strong focus on practical solutions, we work with companies and local authorities to develop company-specific concepts for energy generation, storage and distribution as well as the optimization of energy efficiency in production. Our expertise in the field of clean tech and intelligent technologies for the resource-efficient use of materials forms the basis for pioneering innovation projects.
In our real-world laboratories, companies can also tackle specific challenges directly on site and research new technologies together with us. We invite interested companies to discuss possible collaborations with us. We are also happy to advise you on funding opportunities from public bodies.
