The Schmitter company was founded in Bielefeld in 1947. While we were first a pure commercial agency for automotive spare parts, the relocation of the company headquarters from Bielefeld to Arnstein in Franconia followed in 1952. Already one year later the production of fuel injection lines was started. Today, the Schmitter Group consists of three components located in Arnstein, Thüngen and Killorglin (Ireland)

The Schmitter company is a developer and manufacturer of precision piping and pipe fittings made from a wide variety of metallic materials, such as steel, aluminum, copper, etc.. The range of parts currently includes about 1,500 different manufacturing products for motor vehicles, mechanical engineering and shipbuilding, which are produced in both large and small batches.
