Our lab focuses mainly on the intersection of three research areas: quantum computing, systems engineering and software engineering. Future computing systems will use quantum algorithms, and their hardware and software architectures must combine the advantages of classical and quantum-based processing units. Consequently, scientific progress requires more interdisciplinary thinking across disciplines than ever before. The group is looking for cross-disciplinary answers to cutting-edge scientific questions and is actively involved in translating them into applications.
