The Mittelstand 4.0 competence center Textil vernetzt supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the textile industry, textile machinery manufacturing and related industries in expanding their digital fitness and implementing AI-based applications. We help textile SMEs to identify potentials and opportunities of digitalization. Among other things, the Textile Connected competence center provides assistance on the following topics:

  • For what and how can assistance systems be used in my company?
  • How can operational processes be accelerated and monitored, existing applications retrofitted or customized manufacturing of products in the retail store implemented?
  • How can employees acquire digital skills and how do I tie them to my company in the long term? How do my customers benefit from smart products? How can my company ensure sustainable business?
  • Which smart sensor systems are suitable for production and how can I implement them in my company?

  • Digital Engineering The German Institutes for Textile and Fiber Research Denkendorf (DITF) are experts for individualized products in the fields of apparel, smart textiles and lightweight construction.
