The Electromobility Competence Center at Bayern Innovativ is supporting the market ramp-up of electromobility to a mass market in Bavaria. It supports Bavarian municipalities and districts as well as Bavarian SMEs in the development and expansion of electromobility. The Competence Center is active in the following fields of innovation: charging infrastructure, e-charging concepts and e-mobility concepts, future and intelligent charging technologies, promotion, user behavior, coupling energy and mobility, life cycle assessment of alternative drives.

The Competence Center for Electromobility works closely with the Automotive and Energy Technology clusters at Bayern Innovativ and promotes an interdisciplinary exchange under the motto "Mobility meets Energy".
