The Aschaffenburg University of Applied Sciences relies on close cooperation with companies in the region for exchange in the field of application-oriented research. It works together with large and medium-sized companies and participates in the Bavarian Lower Main Innovation Network. Close cooperation exists with companies such as BMW Forschung und Technik GmbH, Daimler AG, Delphi Delco Electronics Europe GmbH, Continental Safety Division, IBEO Automobile Sensor GmbH, Oswald Elektromotoren GmbH, BMZ GmbH. Furthermore, the university is networked in the Cluster Automotive Technology, in the Cooperation Network Vehicle Safety, in the Microsystems Technology Network Rhine-Main as well as in the Strategic Partnership Sensor Technology e.V..
