Herrenknecht is an internationally active company in special plant engineering. As an international market leader, Herrenknecht develops, builds and sells mobile tunnel boring machines with diameters ranging from 0.10 m to over 16.00 m for the underground construction of supply and disposal lines as well as traffic tunnels. With more than 1,600 employees and around 100 apprentices worldwide, the Herrenknecht Group generated sales of €507 million in 2005. The Herrenknecht Group comprises 28 subsidiaries in Germany and abroad as well as 5 business-related associated companies.
