Glen Dimplex Deutschland GmbH is divided into three divisions: Dimplex, Innovative Heating, Cooling and Ventilation, Riedel Kältetechnik and Consumer Products. Development and production of heat pumps, storage heaters and cooling systems is centrally located at the headquarters in Kulmbach. Dimplex stands for the highly efficient use of renewable energies for heating, cooling, ventilation and water heating. Riedel Kältetechnik is positioned as the world's leading manufacturer and supplier of cooling units for medical, industrial and commercial applications. Consumer Products include well-known, high-quality brands such as EIO, Aqua Vac, and Morphy Richards.

The Glen Dimplex Group was founded in Ireland in 1973 and is the world's largest manufacturer of electrically powered heating systems. Its subsidiary, Glen Dimplex Deutschland, headquartered in Kulmbach, is one of the leading suppliers of electric domestic heating, cooling and systems technology in Germany, currently employing around 850 people at three German sites.
