Plasma powder coating for seam sealing

Seam sealing is a common method in metal processing to prevent corrosion. With this new process of plasma powder coating, it is possible to coat folded seams, sheet metal doublings and edge protection in such a way that untreated areas at the deformation receive reliable surface protection. This coating or sealing with a plastic powder gives the sheet metal joints an aesthetically smooth surface with good adhesion of the paint layer to be applied. The entire process is fully automated and subsequent manual processing is not required. It is no longer necessary to cover the joint with a plastisol bead, which ultimately also results in weight savings. By this nearly odorless procedure emissions are nearly impossible with the processing and with the use.
