Profile
Artificial intelligence and electromobility are two key technologies for the future of road transportation.
At the Institute of System Dynamics and Control, we develop versatile and innovative approaches for mechatronic X-by-Wire chassis with the aim of simultaneously improving energy efficiency, driving safety and comfort. Artificial intelligence and electromobility are two key technologies for the future of road traffic.
Research is supported by the continuous development of modeling and simulation tools. In particular, vehicle modeling and integrated controller development are the core competencies of the institute, which take full advantage of the multidisciplinary Modellica modeling standard.
The multiphysical models are used for the design, simulation and optimization of our vehicle control and estimation algorithms. These algorithms are implemented, validated and experimentally demonstrated on real vehicles in model, software and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments.
