DAVID is a cross-sectional project that ensures the value proposition of digital interoperability based on the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) in the environment of Manufacturing-X (M-X). In this way, it makes an indispensable contribution to the development of open data ecosystems in industry. It provides processes and resources in such a way that the upcoming M-X projects can validate their used infrastructure with regard to technological and semantic interoperability in relation to their use cases. This makes cross-company use cases in different industries possible.
