The Chamber of Skilled Crafts for Upper Franconia (HWK) is the central contact for 16,500 skilled crafts businesses in the region. The most important tasks that the HWK performs for the skilled trades are the political representation of interests, vocational training and continuing education, and the provision of consulting and services. A particular focus of the HWK lies in the service sector, especially in vocational education and training and business consulting. More than 3,000 company consultations are carried out annually.
