Spleenlab GmbH from Saalburg-Ebersdorf develops AI software for safe, autonomous mobility in safety-critical areas such as drones, autonomous vehicles and air cabs. The company was founded in 2018 and combines modern AI with sensor fusion (camera, lidar, radar) to enable precise environmental perception and GPS-independent navigation.

The central product is the VISIONAIRY® platform, which offers functions such as obstacle detection, semantic segmentation and automated inspection. It enables autonomous decisions in real time and is used in aviation, logistics and industry.

Spleenlab places particular emphasis on safety and certifiability according to standards such as ISO 26262, DO-178 or SORA. Methods such as safety by design, self-supervised learning and formal verification are used. Its partners include DroneUp, Volocopter and Deutsche Bahn.
