Weidener Technologie-Campus (WTC)

The Technology Campus at the OTH Amberg-Weiden is a support association whose supporting members strategically accompany technology transfer activities between the university, bundled by the Institute for Applied Research (IAF), and the regional economy. The aim of the sponsoring association is to assist in the maintenance and expansion of knowledge and technology networking between the university with the regional authorities and economic actors in the region by providing human, infrastructural and financial resources and to contribute to the profitable implementation of application-oriented and innovative research results. In addition to the advisory and supportive function of its sponsoring members, the Technology Campus is the publisher of the annual research report of the OTH Amberg-Weiden, which documents the diverse research activities of the university from its 4 faculties of Electrical Engineering, Media and Computer Science (EMI), Mechanical Engineering/Environmental Engineering (MB/UT), Industrial Engineering (WI) and Business Administration (BW).
