The Technology Transfer Center Smart Polymer Pipe Systems in Hassfurt (TTZ-HAS for short) is an institute of the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences with a focus on applied research in the field of plastic pipe extrusion. The Haßfurt site offers the ideal conditions for this due to the uniquely high density of well-known manufacturers in the pipe industry located in the Haßberge district and the immediate vicinity. The aim is to facilitate technology transfer through close networking between industry and science and to retain skilled workers in the region.
