Technologietransferzentrum Bad Kissingen

The Technology Transfer Center Bad Kissingen (TTZ-KG for short) is an institute of the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences (THWS) founded in 2023 as part of the "Hightech Transfer Bavaria" program with a focus on sustainable digital transformation in laboratory analytics and medical technology. Due to a leading European cluster with a high density of laboratories, the Bad Kissingen location offers the best conditions for this. The aim is to facilitate technology transfer and retain skilled workers in the region by closely linking industry and science. The institute is supported by the Free State of Bavaria, the THWS, the town of Bad Kissingen and the district of Bad Kissingen, by several companies and organizations (endowed professorship) and by extensive third-party funding.
