The development company IZB mbH is the operating company of the Biotechnology Innovation and Start-up Centers in Planegg-Martinsried and Freising-Weihenstephan. 

In addition, it is an optimal breeding ground for successful start-ups and offers a chemistry school, a campus hotel including a faculty club as well as conference rooms and a kindergarten. Consequently, this makes a decisive contribution to the expansion of the campus infrastructure.
