EXIST is a funding program of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Its goals include improving the start-up climate at universities and non-university research institutions and increasing the number and success of technology-oriented and knowledge-based start-ups.
Generally, EXIST starts in the pre-founding phase of start-ups and comprises three funding program lines:
- EXIST Start-up Culture
- EXIST Start-up Fellowship
- EXIST Research Transfer
