Bayerische Forschungsstiftung

To actively shape Bavaria's future with innovations, to promote cooperation between industry and science in joint research projects, to endow knowledge and to intensify the transfer of knowledge - this is the central task of the Bavarian Research Foundation. The aim is to strengthen Bavaria in the international competition for new technologies, to create sustainable jobs, and to use the foundation's funds to help maintain Bavaria's good living and locational conditions. The focal points of current funding are: Life Sciences, Information and Communication Technology, Microsystems Technology, Materials Science, Energy and Environment, Mechatronics, Nanotechnology, and Process and Production Technology.
