The Network for Materials Science and Engineering

The German Society for Materials Science (DGM) is one of the largest technical-scientific societies in the field of materials science and materials engineering in Europe. For more than 100 years, the DGM has represented the interests of its members at the interface between science and industry.

The focus is on networking, as a guarantor for the continuous development of the field of materials science and materials engineering in terms of content, structure and personnel. The DGM offers its members a wide range of participation formats. These include technical committee and working group meetings as well as international and national events such as conferences, exhibitions, continuing education and events for young scientists. The events organized by the DGM hybrid facilitate and support the professional and personal networking of our MatWerk community.
