Your future with composites

Composites United e. V. (CU) is one of the world's largest networks for fiber-based multi-material lightweight construction. Around 350 members have joined forces to form this high-performance industry and research association to jointly develop lightweight construction solutions of the future. The CU promotes the industrial use of hybrid high-performance lightweight composite materials and their sustainable use. To achieve this goal, the CU supports its members in the targeted acquisition of national and international projects, the presentation of their capabilities at national and international events/trade fairs, and through specific educational offerings.

Multiple regional and technical departments carry the association's activities throughout the DACH region, plus international representatives in Japan, South Korea, China, and India. 

Composites United e.V. was created with effect from January 01, 2019, from the merger of the two existing associations Carbon Composites e. V. and CFK Valley e. V. The headquarters of Composites United e. V. is Berlin, and Augsburg and Stade will also be retained as established locations.
