For several years, Alumina Systems has been successfully producing and selling complex ceramic components manufactured using 3D printing. In early 2020, the world's largest 3D printer for dense Al2O3 components with a build area of 600x600x300 mm will be commissioned at Alumina Systems in Redwitz. In 2019, Alumina Systems was again awarded the TOP100 prize as an innovative company. At the international trade fair Ceramitec, Alumina Systems won the "Best Component Award" with its ceramic gas distribution ring with 3D printed nozzles.  With 3D printing of ceramics, Alumina Systems can realize components that could not be produced with any other process so far. Since 1970, Alumina Systems has been developing and producing innovative ceramic-metal composite systems.
