Bavarian funding program "Technology-oriented start-ups"
The BayTOU program supports company founders and young companies in the development of new products, processes and technical services.
It is intended to stimulate company start-ups in promising technology sectors and support newly founded companies in order to help create highly qualified jobs and strengthen the competitiveness of the Bavarian economy.
The program is open to company founders from all technology sectors. Funding is provided for technologically and economically risky development projects that aim to build up or strengthen the technological basis of start-ups and small companies.
The founders must aim to develop a new product, process or technical service that is expected to offer clear competitive advantages and market opportunities due to its technical innovation.
Funding is provided as a non-repayable grant as part of project funding. Eligible costs include R&D personnel costs, costs for instruments and equipment, contract research and obtaining patents.
The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy provides the funding. Further details on the scope of funding can be found in the current guideline or you can talk to us to find out more.
