Bavarian Technology Promotion Program plus
The BayTP+ program supports companies in the development of technologically new products and processes as well as in the application of modern technologies in products and production. The program is intended to support the introduction and dissemination of innovative technologies in the economy and thus contribute to the competitiveness and further development of a sustainable economic structure in Bavaria.
Development
Funding is available for the development of technologically new or significantly improved products, production processes and knowledge-based services. The project must be characterized by a high degree of innovation and be carried out by the applicant.
Companies with up to 400 employees are eligible to apply for development projects. Larger companies can apply for funding if the project is of exceptional strategic importance for Bavaria as a research and technology location.
The grant is provided as partial funding in the form of a non-repayable subsidy. Applications are submitted to the Bavarian Project Management Agency via a multi-stage procedure.
Application
Only small and medium-sized enterprises can apply for funding for application projects. Funding is provided for the application of new technologies that have not yet become established in the respective industry. Funding is provided in the form of loans as part of project funding. The financing share of the loan can amount to up to 100% of the eligible expenditure of the project.
The LfA Förderbank Bayern provides further information and application forms for this funding line. Applications must be submitted to the respective house bank.
Applications can be submitted at any time during the period of validity of the guidelines. The Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy is the funding body. Further details on the scope of funding can be found in the current guideline or by contacting us.
