Funding conditions
What is subsidized?
Preparation of operational energy concepts by expert third parties to save energy, increase efficiency and use renewable energies. The concepts show ways of reducing the energy requirements of the company's own premises by saving energy and increasing energy efficiency. The energy requirements are to be covered by renewable energies, and concrete implementation proposals for investment decisions are to be developed. The study is limited to locations in Bavaria.
The following methodology is planned for the concept:
- Basic determination and analysis of the current situation,
- Potential survey and concept development with different variants and scenarios,
- Performance and energy balance of the variants and scenarios,
- Economic efficiency calculation for the different variants and scenarios,
- Reduction of emissions compared to the current situation,
- Proposed measures and
- Summary.
Who is supported?
Eligible to apply are
- Companies with a registered office or branch in Bavaria,
- Municipal or public sector companies in Bavaria,
- organizations of ecclesiastical or other institutions in Bavaria and
- Companies outside Bavaria if the object of the study is a new establishment or transformation in Bavaria.
How is funding provided?
Funding is provided in the form of a grant towards the eligible costs. The costs of preparing the study are eligible for funding. The grant amounts to
- up to 40% for large companies and
- up to 50% for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) or non-commercial organizations.
The grant amounts to a maximum of €50,000.
What requirements must be met?
- At least 3 vendor-neutral comparative offers for eligible costs over €25,000.
- The de minimis limit of €10,000 of eligible costs must be exceeded.
- Overview of previously funded energy concepts.
- The project must be carried out in Bavaria.
