Start-ups - here Bavaria shows how innovations from research can be transferred to industry and how strong the start-up landscape is in Bavaria.

With the support of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for Energy, Economic Affairs and Regional Development, we want to better network the industry, shed light on current topics and highlight the support options for players.

The event begins at 9 a.m. with check-in, where participants have the opportunity to arrive and register. This will be followed by an official welcome from Dr. Rainer Seßner, Managing Director of Bayern Innovativ GmbH, who will welcome the guests and set the tone for the day. We will then take a look at the highlights of the battery industry in Bavaria over the past twelve months and highlight the most important developments and milestones.

A special highlight of the day will be the presentation of the battery strategy for Bavaria by Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger. This will be followed by an exciting panel discussion with representatives from industry and politics. The Bavarian networks will then be presented and the accompanying exhibition opened, before an extensive lunch break provides an opportunity for networking and exchange.

In the afternoon, there will be parallel expert panels, where participants can choose between three topics: performance-driven innovation, the application field of stationary storage and the Bavarian battery research landscape presented by the Bavarian Battery Alliance. The specialist panels will be followed by an inspiring closing keynote, which will once again highlight the innovative strength of the industry and provide an outlook for the future. The event will conclude with a get-together in the exhibition, which will provide space for informal discussions and new contacts. The event will end in the early evening.

At the second networking congress of the Bavarian battery industry, experts from industry, research and the public sector met in Nuremberg to jointly shape the future of energy storage technologies. With the support of the Bavarian State Ministry of Economic Affairs, Energy and Regional Development, the congress provided a central platform for exchange, networking and the presentation of specific support services along the entire battery value chain.
