In this seminar, participants learn to understand security risks for networked machines and automation systems. They will learn about the importance of existing and upcoming legal requirements for the protection of industrial systems and products, particularly as a result of the new NIS2 Implementation Act.
Due to the increasing networking of automation systems and the legal requirements that are now emerging, such as the NIS2 Implementation Act, the Cyber Resilience Act or the new Machinery Directive, industrial companies and critical infrastructures are regularly faced with new cyber security challenges.
Against this background, participants in the seminar are trained on current developments in the area of cyber threats in order to be able to assess the risk for machines and systems in accordance with the NIS2 Implementation Act. The aim is not only to fulfill legal requirements through measures, but also to develop economical and sustainable protection for your own systems.
You will receive basic know-how to improve the security measures for your own systems and to tackle the approaching challenges in a targeted and economical manner. Specifically, the IEC 62443 standard for industrial cyber security and its practical applicability will be discussed.
