As the Bavarian project management organization, we support you from the initial consultation to the application and beyond. The funding program is implemented via corresponding funding calls and is a one-stage process.

The next funding call is expected to take place in the first quarter of 2026.
Consulting
As a first step, we will be happy to provide you with individual information on the H2N funding program over the phone. In a non-binding consultation, we will assess whether your plans are eligible for funding under the funding call. Please feel free to arrange an appointment with our Förderlotse Bayern team.
Application submission
While the call for funding is open, you can submit an application via our electronic application system. Prior activation by the Bavarian project management organization is not necessary.

Application evaluation
- Your complete application will be reviewed from a technological and financial perspective.
- The applications compete with each other and are ranked according to the prioritization criteria defined in the call.
- If the assessment is positive, you will receive a letter of approval from the Bavarian project management organization.

Implementation period
- You must place an order for the commercial vehicle within three months and provide proof of this to the Bavarian project management organization.
- The implementation period is twelve months, after which time a registration certificate for the vehicle applied for must be submitted.
Proof of use
- At the end of the implementation period, the vehicle must be registered to the funding recipient. This is confirmed in the proof of use.
- A brief factual report must also be submitted.
- On this basis, the requested funding amount can be paid out.
Utilization period
- The utilization period after purchase of the vehicle is generally four years and two years in the case of leasing. During this period, annual reports must be submitted to the Bavarian project sponsor. The dates will be communicated by the Bavarian project management organization.
- The reports must show the mileage of the vehicle and the CO2 emissions saved.
- A short final report must be submitted at the end of the four-year or two-year earmarking period.
