The Bavarian Charging Atlas provides an almost complete overview of public charging locations. For networked charging stations, the status information is displayed in real time. The charging atlas is a cooperation project between Bayern Innovativ and the Bavarian start-up CIRRANTiC and is funded by the Free State of Bavaria.
The charging atlas for electric vehicle users and infrastructure operators
The ad hoc authorization function with LINKstart enables you as a user to activate numerous stations without barriers and start the charging process directly from the WebApp, if supported by the operator. The quality and functionality of the application is continuously improved through new entries, integration of feedback and usage forecasts. Entries can be updated at any time on request. Further service functions such as reservations and parking space occupancy by e.g. combustion vehicles are in preparation. The charging atlas also currently offers these functions:
- Real-time status information on the use of networked charging points
- Charging location information with connections and access
- Journey planning through daily forecasts
Use the following list to find out how many charging stations there are in your area and where they are located in your district or city. It is sorted by administrative district. Select the small plus to the right of the respective administrative district and then click on the desired link to access the charging atlas.

Numerous cooperations with infrastructure and roaming providers as well as manufacturers and service providers have already been launched and will be further expanded. Municipalities in particular are called upon to register new charging infrastructure. Register a new charging station here!
