Innovative impetus for sustainable growth in Straubing

Where business and science enter into dialog, innovative solutions with future potential are created. Close cooperation with research institutions not only strengthens the innovative power of companies, but also creates the basis for sustainable economic growth.
Straubing is regarded as one of the leading locations for research and development in the fields of biotechnology and sustainability. With the campus of the Technical University of Munich (TUM), the Fraunhofer Institute for Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology (IGB) and the Technology and Support Center (TFZ), companies have top-class scientific partners at their side. Together, they are developing practical solutions for the key challenges of our time - for example in the use of CO₂, sustainable fuels or the development of bio-based materials for agriculture, construction and industry.
As part of the "Research meets business" event, company and development managers are given the opportunity to
- get to know the research landscape in Straubing better,
- enter into a direct exchange with leading scientists
- and contribute their own business issues in interactive workshops.
The aim is to jointly develop innovative solutions that can serve as a starting point for future research collaborations - individual, practicable and future-oriented.
