Bayern Innovativ becomes European Digital Innovation Hub

Together with 11 Bavarian partners, Bayern Innovativ successfully applied for EU funding as a European Digital Innovation Hub. The Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence project, DInA for short, will support business and administration in the digital transformation with almost 6 million euros from mid-2026.
The 12 partners will offer almost 100 free services and consulting services in 5 key areas:
- Development and trustworthy use of artificial intelligence
- Strengthening IT security
- Digitalization of production facilities
- Use of deep tech such as quantum, neuromorphic and high-performance computing
- Acquisition of funding and venture capital
In addition to Bayern Innovativ, the consortium consists of applied AI Institute, Bavarian Research Alliance, Bavarian AI Agency, Digitales Zentrum.Schwaben (DZ.S), fortiss, Fraunhofer Institutes IGCV and IIS, TechBase Regensburg and the technical universities of Augsburg, Deggendorf and Regensburg. Bayern Innovativ is taking on the role of consortium leader and is responsible for communicating the project.
