Promotion of sodium-ion batteries

The Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs is supporting the establishment of a production facility for sodium-ion batteries in Lichtenfels. The MOLL Batterien project is of central importance for Bavarian industry and has a high growth potential of over 30 percent per year.

Yesterday, State Minister Hubert Aiwanger handed over the funding for the 𝗩𝗼𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗲𝗻 "𝗔𝘂𝗳𝗯𝗮𝘂 𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗸𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘃𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗜𝗼𝗻𝗲𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻" in Lichtenfels. The MOLL Batterien project makes a significant contribution to the availability of green transformation technologies in Bavaria.
