More comfort for radiologists thanks to NASA technology

Protective clothing is essential in radiology, but it often leads to heat stress and discomfort. MAVIG, the Munich-based specialist for radiation protection, is therefore working with Outlast Technologies to significantly improve wearer comfort.

The Outlast® technology developed by NASA regulates the temperature directly on the skin by storing excess heat and releasing it when needed. This prevents overheating and increases comfort - even during long shifts in heavy protective clothing.

MAVIG integrates this high-tech material into its protective clothing and headwear specially developed for radiology. The result: less strain, more concentration and better performance for doctors in everyday clinical practice.
