Cleantech Cluster

Cleantech describes products, processes or services that increase operational performance, productivity or efficiency while reducing costs, natural resources, energy consumption, waste or pollution.

The Cleantech Innovation Park, a meeting, exchange and development site for business and science, is being created on the site of the former Michelin tire plant in Hallstadt. The aim is to create sustainable jobs for the region, promote the region's economic performance and at the same time contribute to decarbonization.

The Cleantech Cluster builds the bridge between companies, innovation and the Cleantech Innovation Park. Funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, it introduces companies to modern technologies from the Cleantech Innovation Park, networks with strong partners from industry and science and provides information on developments in the cleantech sector in order to strengthen the entire Nuremberg metropolitan region and thus Bavaria as a location for innovation from the Bamberg region: for development into a leading competence location in the cleantech sector.

  As a partner of the Cleantech Cluster, you can use the infrastructure of the Cleantech Innovation Park to implement your joint projects with universities and companies on neutral ground.

  Do you have an innovative idea and are looking for the right funding program? We are your first point of contact for questions about technology-oriented funding programs from the Free State of Bavaria, the federal government and the EU. We will be happy to put you in direct contact with the relevant contact person at Bayern Innovativ.
• Knowledge transfer and exchange
  We present the results of the cluster's workshops, demonstrations and collaborative projects at an annual summit for experts from science and industry. You can also take part in other events such as an annual partner meeting to actively help shape the future of the cluster.

  Events, publications and new support services: as a partner of the Cleantech Cluster, you will always be kept up to date and will always be the first to hear the latest news.
