In a two-year partnership, our partner from the New Materials Cluster - DIPROmat GmbH - and CEAD B.V. have developed an innovative, glass fiber-reinforced polymer called CEAD® HDPro - especially for large-format 3D printing of boats. The new material combines high rigidity, excellent impact strength and recyclability with low shrinkage and UV resistance. This creates a sustainable alternative to conventional thermosets. CEAD® HDPro is marketed including process parameters and is a milestone for the maritime manufacturing of the future.
