The EU Commission wants to invest 200 million euros in digital projects and is asking European companies, public administrations and other institutions for proposals. This is the third round of calls for proposals under the Digital Europe program.
Companies and institutions from all EU member states, EFTA/EEA countries and associated states are eligible to apply.
What is to be funded?
The 170 million euros will be used to support data rooms, the development of an artificial intelligence (AI) platform, cloud-to-edge infrastructures and specialized education programs for advanced digital technologies. The application deadline is Jan. 24, 2023.
30 million euros will be allocated to European digital innovation centers. Located across Europe, the centers will support private companies, including SMEs and startups, and the public sector in their digital transformation. The deadline for this call is November 16, 2022.
