The Technical University of Munich is looking for companies for the Project Week 1,000+ 2025!

The new teaching format Project Week 1,000+ of the Technical University of Munich will take place for the second time from January 13-17, 2025. The aim of the TUM-wide Project Week 1,000+ is to familiarize Master's students with German companies, especially small and medium-sized enterprises, and at the same time to give companies access to TUM talent.

During the project week, students spend a week in the company and solve a real task defined by the company, which is later presented. "This gives our TUM talents the opportunity to get to know the corporate culture of the hidden champions. At the same time, we give companies with a small HR budget, for example, access to our talents. Both can benefit." Prof. Oliver Hayden, the initiator of the project, describes the new format. Challenge-based learning is practised in interdisciplinary teams, which transcends specialist boundaries and is considered a career preparation measure.

The match-making of students and companies is based on the preferences of the companies. "1,000+ has brought us together with young students who would never have found their way to us and I believe this closes a gap in the recruitment process," enthuses Sebastian Wegner, CEO of Sciospec Instruments, a participant in 1,000+ 2024.

You too can benefit from TUM's new project and use 1,000+ to find young talent and inspire them for your company.
