We would like to inform you that a new program round of "KI-Transfer Plus" of the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs has begun. "KI-Transfer Plus" is a program for medium-sized companies to develop holistic AI expertise. The program is coordinated by Bayern Innovativ. The focus of the program is the close content-related and technical support of the participating companies by one of the eight AI regional centers, which are located at Bavarian universities.

Below you will find an overview of the most important framework conditions.

What you can expect from the program:

Targeted knowledge building
Well-founded AI expertise is imparted through a structured accompanying program. This will enable your company to implement and further develop AI systems independently even after the end of the program. During the nine-month program, your company's employees can take part in the following formats, among others

• interactive workshops at the AI regional centers
• practical online learning modules
• Moderated exchange formats with other companies

Accompanied AI strategy development
In order to establish sustainable structures for the use of AI in your company, you will develop a company-specific AI strategy together with your supervising AI regional center.

Implementation of an individual AI use case
As part of the program, you will implement a concrete, operational AI use case in your company - from the initial idea to pilot operation.

Conditions of participation

• Medium-sized company (according to German usage)
• High motivation for the introduction of AI and corresponding management commitment
• Binding provision of sufficient human resources during the program period (technical and strategic background; several people possible)
• Provision of a project manager as a continuous contact person
• The cost of participating in the program is €29,000 net
• English language skills of the participants are required
• Application procedure
  Applications for the program start in May of this year are now open. The application deadline ends on March 31, 2026. Due to the review of the increased number of inquiries, the application deadline may be extended until April 15, 2026. To apply for KI-Transfer Plus, interested companies should complete the online application form.
