Fraunhofer ISE: Online tool for selecting high-temperature heat pumps

Efficient process heat for industry - find the right technology now

The Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems ISE has developed an interactive online tool to help companies select suitable high-temperature heat pumps.

This technology can efficiently provide process heat up to 200°C and thus contributes to the decarbonization of industry.

The tool compares various heat pump concepts with relevant industrial processes and enables a targeted search for suitable solutions. Companies, manufacturers and researchers can also enter their own data to further develop the system.

The project is part of the research focus "Climate-neutral industry" and was funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
