The energy sector is always producing special images. We present some of them in our "Energy photo of the week" section.

The energy supplier Erdgas Südwest, based in Ettlingen (Baden-Württemberg), has already installed its second floating solar plant for Kies- und Schotterwerke Müller. 1,600 modules with an output of 950 kW were installed on the quarry pond in Pfullendorf in Baden-Württemberg. They supply around one million kWh of electricity per year, with around 60 percent going directly into the crusher and the rest being marketed, according to the company. The transformer station, which also floats on the lake, brings the green electricity to the appropriate grid voltage and distributes it.
