The Federal Statistical Office published preliminary data on the distribution of the amount of electricity fed into the German grid operators by energy source. The I. Quarter 2021 and II. Quarter 2022.
According to preliminary data from the Federal Statistical Office, coal was Germany's most important energy source in the first quarter of 2022, accounting for 31.5 percent of the amount of electricity fed into the grid. Around 31.1 percent of the amount of electricity fed into the German grid by German grid operators, on the other hand, was attributable to wind power.
