Gelsenwasser AG and the software company "CREM SOLUTIONS" have entered into a strategic partnership.
In future, the energy supplier Gelsenwasser will rely on an AI-controlled energy management system from the Ratingen-based software company Crem Solutions. "Energy" is a cloud-based software that can record and analyze the energy consumption of any number of buildings and their consumers. At the same time, the companies are entering into a strategic partnership, as detailed in a press release.
The analysis function of "Energy" enables consumption data to be evaluated and automatically displayed in clear dashboards. According to the software company, one feature of the software is an integrated AI tool that detects anomalies in consumption behavior. By using artificial intelligence, the software is able to identify unusual patterns and potential problems at an early stage, which leads to more effective fault diagnosis and a faster response time. This enables Gelsenwasser to specifically identify excessive energy consumption, understand it better and take measures to optimize it.
In addition to using the software for Gelsenwasser's own properties, the AI-controlled software solution under the label "Gelsenwasser Monitor" will also support large commercial and industrial customers as well as municipal customers in optimizing their energy use in the future.
"The wide range of functions, the openness to almost all digital consumption meters, the integration of any number of data points and the high quality of Energy were important reasons for the decision in favor of Energy, says Benjamin Schminke, Head of Energy Automation at Gelsenwasser. For the energy supplier, "Energy" is therefore the ideal complement for the energy market roles as a competitive metering point operator (wMSB) and energy service provider (ESA) as well as for IoT metering point operation in the heat and water sectors.
Crem Solutions is a provider of software solutions for commercial and technical real estate management based in Ratingen, Germany. The company is part of the Nemetschek Group, a global provider of software solutions for the architecture, construction and real estate industry based in Munich.
