https://www.istockphoto.com/de/legal/license-agreement The 2023 European Sustainable Energy Awards (EUSEW Awards) will recognize outstanding individuals and projects for their innovations and efforts in clean energy. Selections will be made from three award categories that have made an outstanding impact on Europe's transition to renewable energy and increased energy efficiency. The three finalists from each award category will be invited to the award ceremony in Brussels on June 20, 2023.
The award categories are:
- INNOVATION - The EUSEW Innovation Award recognizes outstanding ongoing or recently completed EU-funded projects that demonstrate an original and innovative path to the clean energy transition.
- LOCAL ENERGY ACTIONS - The EUSEW Local Energy Action Award recognizes implemented sustainable energy actions undertaken by a group of citizens or consumers (in conjunction with a municipality or other stakeholders) that contribute to the clean energy transition at the municipal or local level.
- WOMEN IN ENERGY - The EUSEW Woman in Energy Award recognizes women who are implementing outstanding activities that, if emulated, will help advance the clean energy transition in Europe. Special emphasis will be placed on efforts to advance the gender mainstreaming agenda and support equality and equity in the energy sector.
The application deadline is February 9, 2023
