Delegation trip to Central Asia (Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) from July 11 - 16, 2023.

From July 11-16, 2023, a delegation trip to Central Asia (Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan) will take place under the leadership of State Secretary Roland Weigert. Kazakhstan, as the largest country in Central Asia, is strongly oriented towards raw materials, but the topic of hydrogen could also develop into a promising field of cooperation. The high mountain country Kyrgyzstan also has enormous potential for hydroelectric power and additionally offers opportunities for wind energy and solar energy thanks to optimal conditions.

The following main topics will be focused on during the delegation trip:

  • Resources are energy: mechanical and plant engineering in the fields of raw materials and renewable energy (including. Hydrogen)
  • Resources and technologies - high potential for cooperation
  • Water, sun and hydrogen - opportunities for sustainability and diversification
