Is the production of electricity and heat in CHP under the current conditions still worthwhile? A free online tool of the BHKW-Infozentrum helps to decide.
In view of rising fuel prices, many operators of combined heat and power plants (CHP) ask themselves whether the existing CHP plant can still be operated economically under these circumstances. In order to answer this question, the BHKW-Infozentrum has programmed an online tool according to its own information from October 17. It is to offer BHKW operators a reliable decision basis.
In five steps interested ones are led by the computation Tool. Calculated are at the end the current price proceeds, which are necessary for the self used and/or to third supplied quantity of current for an economic BHKW enterprise.
"Everyone knows the financial advantages, which it obtains per kilowatt-hour with a current self production and/or with the sales of the river at third , says in addition Markus Gailfuß of the BHKW info. center. If these proceeds lie over the value computed by the Tool, the BHKW plant can be operated further economically.
More than 1,500 persons used the Tool already, so Gailfuß. With changes of the purchase conditions with the fuel and/or river can be recalculated within shortest time and adapted the decision to it. Many are surprised that also to the present basic conditions still an economical enterprise is possible, so Gailfuß.
