Technology Transfer Center Upper Franconia Digital Intelligence supports SMEs with practical research in AI, automation and additive manufacturing - from consulting to technology transfer.

The Technology Transfer Center (TTZ) Upper Franconia: Digital Intelligence strengthens SMEs through applied research in the district of Lichtenfels. Practical solutions in automation, new materials, production processes and AI for engineering and production are developed at the TTZ and implemented in cooperation with regional companies. State-of-the-art technologies such as robotics, process sensor technology, digital twins and data-based analysis methods are incorporated. In addition, the InAdditiv transfer project is expanding the range of services to include digitalization and automation in additive manufacturing, including energy-efficient processes, AI-supported monitoring and a practical technology demonstrator. Companies benefit from research and development services, consulting, workshops, training and access to modern laboratory and software infrastructure.
