Demographic change is presenting society with major challenges. People are getting older and staying active for longer - at the same time, there is a shortage of skilled workers and the social fabric is coming under pressure. How can the coexistence of all generations be rethought - fairly, inclusively and sustainably?
We are looking for real challenges for the Design Jam - the interactive core of the Social Design Days 2025 in Nuremberg. On October 22 and 23, 2025, interdisciplinary teams will work together to develop creative solutions to the challenges of demographic change. Supported by experts and inspired by cross-innovation methods, innovative approaches will be developed that combine design and social responsibility.
Whether barrier-free living, care, age-appropriate products or new forms of participation - the Design Jam is looking for concrete ideas that can be developed as part of the Design Jam. A jury will select two challenges, which will take center stage in October. Challenge donors are of course on site and part of the process.
